i like the show Over There. i shouldn't, but i do. the soldiers are always too clean (compare this picture from real world combat to this one from the show), the bad guys while complex are always bad, and the good guys while flawed are always good. still, it certainly tells a good story in true Bochco form and it makes a better stab at showing what it's like to fight a war than the nightly news. i just wish it were a little more real, not for the dramatic value but so that we could all understand a little better what it means to "defend our way of life" with force.
