someone mentioned to me recently that me news section was a little "angry guy being angry" (not a direct quote, by the way) which didn't at all seem to jibe with my normal, easy-going demeanor. so in the spirit of a more positive outlook, i bring you this:

under no circumstance sign-up for any offers that promise free iPods, computers, or the like, in exchange for completing an offer, signing up (selling out!) your friends and having them do the same. you will get screwed. i thought i could make it work but now my new Hate List #1, Gravis Network, is saying that because Corinne was one of the people who completed an offer for me, and because she lives in my house, they won't honor the free iPod deal. bullshit scam artists. what's worse, is they're implying that i've committed fraud or been otherwise dishonest with them. their business model was creepy enough without them spending a good portion of time trying to weasel out of their half of the deal.
