thanks to Yve, who mentioned some Smashing Pumpkins lyrics in her journal and got me humming the tune, i pulled out a folder of CDs i haven't listened to in a long time and have been enjoying some great, albeit somewhat mainstream, music.

spent Sunday doing my annual volunteering stint at AIDS Walk and realized, again, that there are some really nasty people out there.

i would first like to say that, oh my gawd, it is so good to be back on my computer. using my mom's oh-so pathetic little iMac with 32 megabytes of RAM was painful. i know she loves it but i actually think i felt pain while sitting at the keyboard.
