shame on you. you spent more time purchasing flags and taping them to your car than you did on practicing democracy.
voter turn-out in San Francisco? 25 percent. sure, it was an off-year election, no presidents to (sort of) elect. but we had major issues on the ballot. public power? yeah? heard of it? you sure griped about it enough when your electricity bill skyrocketed. solar power? elections reform? redistricting? filling the Bay?
don't you have an opinion on any of that? don't you care? you had all day, from seven in the morning until eight at night to vote. it took me exactly three minutes to vote during what should have been a peak time. because there was no one there.
do you realize that both measures F and I will come down to a handful of votes? you can't say your vote doesn't matter any more. you can't use that excuse. whether you are for or against it, you could have made a difference. you could have made all the difference.
so what's your excuse this time?
