despite being ever so tired of the word "millennium", i'm sponsoring a survey of the best human works of the last 1000 years.

for the next month, i will be taking submissions of what you think were the best of the best music, books, poetry, architecture, art, photography, theater, film, television commercial, ad campaign, clothing, furniture, technological invention, or anything else created by us people. no political movements, no intangible ideas, no historical events, no people, and nothing that exists as a statement or action. things created as art or for consumption only.
