i was just on the radio. :D

i was listening to KQED's Forum, as i frequently do, and the guest, a black woman talking about people of color and the Democratic party, mentioned that she was against instant run-off elections. if you've been paying attention, you know that i am very much in favor of this kind of voting because it gives third-party candidates a voice without negatively impacting larger-party candidates. so i called and told her so.

i got a little nervous towards the end and didn't hold my ground but the guest wasn't really giving me much of an answer outside of the usual party-speak anyway. it was fun. i was heard by thousands. "...and now we go to Sean on a cell phone..."
